2011 GMC Terrain Review

The new GMC Terrain 2011 makes world debut at the 2009 New York International Auto Show. GMC Terrain is a five-passenger crossover SUV that combines bold style and fuel efficiency, and features stunning.

"New Terrain GMC tells the story of innovation and technical excellence in a smaller package of fuel in today's buyer," said Susan Docherty, Buick-Pontiac-GMC manager. "The ability of attributes that make vehicles GMC GMC are deep in the ground, making it a viable alternative to traditional SUVs that current customers are looking for a distinctive style and more efficient."
 


New 2.4l four-cylinder engine with direct injection offering is expected to provide the best in its segment in highway fuel economy of 30 mpg. More fuel economy achieved in part by the "ECO" mode that is activated by the console-mounted button. When involved, reduces the torque converter locks speed 1125 RPM to save fuel models equipped with 2.4l engine.

The engines are mounted on a rigid structure, with a full body one-piece stamped side of the body and specific applications of high-strength steel. It is the basis for a safe driving experience that is both smooth and responsive.

The first application of active noise cancellation GM (ANC) technology is used on models with 2.4 liter engine. ANC uses microphones to detect sounds booming inside the vehicle and sends the sound waves by the counter-system audio speakers, ensuring a smooth driving experience virtually all vehicle speeds.
